Abstract

The article presents some pages of the history of the creation of the Central State Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the increase in the role of the archive in remote work, teaching and studying history. Examples of archive catalogs for a quick search of the necessary material, digital documents using new information technologies introduced in Central Asia are given.
