AUGMENTED REALITY MODULE FOR SMART UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The article discusses the development of a module using augmented
reality technology for Smart university, implemented based on the information system
of East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbayev. The module is
implemented as a mobile application for the use by students of the educational programs
«Metallurgy» and «Enrichment of minerals» based on the research and production
complex «Metallurgy». The module allows you to visualize in 3D the equipment, and
instruments of the laboratories of this complex, as well as the physical and chemical
processes studied by students that occur within the framework of ongoing experiments.
