Abstract

This article reveals the essence of the concept of distance learning. Distance education is a set of
mass educational services provided by a special information environment with the help of means of transmitting
educational and methodological information over long distances (SDO, online platform, etc.). The purpose of
training is forming a system of knowledge, skills and abilities in accordance with national educational standards. It
has a hierarchical structure. So, an academic discipline acts as one of the elements in achieving the goal of training
a specialist. The research findings make it clear that in the SDO, i.e., the for distance learning developments are
quite consistent with the goal of digitalizing the distance learning educational technologies, since they solves a
number of the most important problems of the KUTEL project implementation
