Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the impact of the KUTEL project ("Kazakhs universities to
foster quality assurance processes in Technology Enhanced Learning" 2018-2021) on the learning process at the
NJSC Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov. The authors of the article point out the full use
of TEL (Technology Enhanced Learning) technologies in organizing distance learning at their university (moodle,
platonus systems). Partial modernization of full-time education is represented by the gradual introduction of
information and communication technologies in a natural form during the period of study at an educational
institution (lectures, seminars, etc.). The third aspect of the application of TEL technologies is to create a virtual
foresight laboratory as a tool for communication with stakeholders to implement the roadmap and substantiate the
spectrum of the humanitarian students’ meta-competencies. Thus, the article reveals the main three mechanisms
of using TEL technologies to foresee the future in the process of organizing the teaching of the present. The
authors emphasize the significant role of the international project Erasmus + KUTEL in the comprehensive
implementation of the range of TEL format tools - from the use of interactive lectures to the creation of a virtual
foresight laboratory. The paper also presents statistical data and illustrative material.
