Communicative aspect of visualization: theory and practice

The article examines the features and styles of content visualization in modern mass media as a separate "communication" means of narration and data transfer in the Internet space – considering its specifics. Analyzed scientific works on the visualization of content in converged media. The means of communication by methods of content visualization are also considered. The author focuses on the visual aspect of mass media, turns to the analysis of existing definitions of infographics, the history of its development, gives examples of its use in the media. It is noted that with the emergence and implementation of visualization, there is a change in the way information is transmitted.
