The issues of the use of automation in the chemical industry are considered, the need for the use of automated control systems during the operation of chemical technology processes is shown. Currently, automation is built solely on microprocessor control architectures, and the control systems for chemical process units are implemented on powerful microcontroller complexes. During the development and debugging of software, specialized debug boards are used, on which there are built-in hardware and software modules. The research debugging complex ME-AVRPLC16 V6 PLC System for developing automation systems for the chemical industry based on the ATmega32 microcontroller is described in detail.
