In the context of today’s global society, the growing interest in the study of
intercultural communication occurs due to several factors some of which are intensive
migration and expansion of cultural values. Global processes, on the one hand, bring
peoples and cultures together in a single civilizational space, but, on the other hand, blur
traditional socio-cultural identities. Therefore, the issues of intercultural communication,
dialogue and mutual understanding of different cultures’ representatives acquire a
special urgency in the modern world and society.
