MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR OPTIMAL SENSOR SELECTION IN SIEM SYSTEMS USING THE ANALYTIC HIERARCHY PROCESS

The article proposes an approach to selecting the optimal sensor in SIEM-class information security management systems using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). A mathematical model has been developed that takes into account multicriteria parameters such as performance, response time, versatility, and cost. Based on the model, software was implemented in C++ using the MySQL DBMS to automate the sensor selection process. The calculation results confirm the effectiveness of applying AHP to improve the validity of decision-making in the field of information security.
