Abstract

Currently, the state pays great attention to education, in particular to improving the quality of education. Quality education is available to all segments of the population. In this regard, it is important to raise the question of how to control the performance of a large influx of students without overloading teachers.

The organization of the work of educational institutions is characterized by large flows of information, including taking into account the progress of students. The daily work of teachers associated with filling out many documents can be eliminated through the introduction of information technology. In addition, the use of information retrieval systems and databases greatly simplifies data processing and speeds up decision making.

The relevance of using the advantages of information systems in the educational process is determined by the possibility of improving the quality of education, ensuring the transparency of the educational environment, creating an accessible and convenient system for all participants in the educational process.

The article is devoted to the automation of the student progress assessment system in the educational process of the International University of Information Technology.

The general methods and principles of the system, the structure of the rating, the features of managing the educational activities of students, as well as aspects of the work of the teaching staff are described. Particular attention was paid to the automation of accounting for learning outcomes in the automated information system of the university.
